As a QA Engineer you'll join Product Engineering Team who are passionate about creating and optimizing the latest cryptocurrency trading platforms, helping to discover new practices in the financial world, designing and developing solutions for a global user base and developing tools for internal company processes.

What you'll do

• Review product & technical specifications/documents and provide timely feedback.
• Write, maintain & execute test scenarios through the product lifecycle.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Communicate effectively with all teams involved (e.g. project managers, product owners, engineering, etc.).
• Identify & track bugs, perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools & technologies.

• Analytical problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools is an added plus (Robot framework, Selenium, Appium Postman API).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C++ Security Auditor with expertise in blockchain layer 1 development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming language and blockchain protocol development, with extensive experience in software development and security auditing. The L1 Security Auditor will be responsible for conducting security audits of blockchain layer 1 codebases and identifying potential vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security audits of blockchain protocols codebases to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.

• Communicate with developers and key stakeholders when identifying and handling security issues.

• Implement internal tools for simplifying the audit process.

• Keep up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities, exploits, and attack techniques related to blockchain protocols and adapt audit procedures accordingly.

Requirements:

Who Are We?Obol Labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes 14 members spread across 8 countries.The core team is building the Obol Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.The NetworkThe network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like Obol are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.Obol as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations.Similar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility will be to complete the US GAAP month and quarter-end close process and reporting, as well as prepare the annual statutory financial statements and reporting.

Coinbase is seeking interns/co-ops with interest in Security to join our Security team and help design, review, build and deploy new features that improve existing products like Coinbase.com Custody, Wallet, etc. You will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems. Summary

We're seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Information Security Specialist to join our team. In your first 90 days, you’ll be challenged to:

• Co-develop a v2 risk framework for data handling in our org
• Revise and apply our SOPs for evaluating new tools and procedures to mitigate the risks according to the framework
• Manage information system policies and compliance
• Automate compliance reporting processes and access policies

Role Responsibilities

• Answer questions that come into #security, directing them to company SOPs where possible
• Write company policies relating to security and revise where needed
• Write training materials and work with our People Operations team to ensure training is delivered & received
• Think from first principles to determine what the likely risks are to our company. Prioritize the risks by likelihood and impact
• Design security projects to address the biggest risks. Get exec buy-in on the effort required and the business case for the work
• Work with internal project operations teams to plan, organize and deliver security related project work
• Take responsibility for setting up user permissions on new & existing software, applications and tools 
• Meticulously maintain Organizational Units to match how people group themselves into teams across the company, their needed tools, and their risks
• Think about how to reduce the need for trusted individuals in the riskiest systems. Work with engineers to define solutions. Work with product to get them prioritized in the engineering/product roadmap

About You

You are a security-minded software engineer who has experience owning fintech systems related to customer data and transaction processing. You love the intersection of software, software infrastructure, and security.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experience Part-Time IT Support Specialist to oversee the IT Operations of our Palo Alto office. The successful candidate will be responsible for  providing front-line IT support while developing policies and procedures to enable scale.What you'll be doing:

• Provide front-line IT support to employees via walk-ups, tickets, and chats
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair IT hardware and software
• Work with Security to handle inventory of IT-owned and managed assets

The base salary range for this full-time position is $80k - $110k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

The Security Operations group is a multi-functional organization that includes our CSIRT, Trust & Safety, Insider Threat, and Threat Intelligence. While no two days will end up looking the same, generally-speaking you’ll be responsible for the following things:

• Growing our threat actor tracking and analytic efforts, to provide actionable intelligence to our security, product, and ecosystem partners.
• Researching emerging attack trends, uncovering attacker infrastructure and tools, and helping Coinbase make sure attackers have a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.
• Monitoring and analyzing in-the-wild exploits, malware, and attacks against other crypto exchanges, determining attribution to a particular threat group, and working with our CSIRT to develop detections accordingly.
• Creating tools and automations to handle repetitive research tasks and bridge the gap between existing and needed capabilities.
• Sharing your most interesting findings via the Coinbase blog, internal and external presentations, and threat profiles or reports.
• Train and mentor teammates and partners in intelligence analysis, operations, reverse engineering, and operational security.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

Some security teams have strict requirements about certifications, degrees, years of experience, and things like that. Not us! We’re more interested in the unique perspectives and expertise you’ll bring to the team, rather than the acronyms on your resume. However, you’ll be much more likely to be successful in this role if these bullet points seem like a good description of you:

• You’ve been doing practical security things (detection and response, malware analysis, security research, etc) for a while now, probably in the realm of 6+ years.
• You are comfortable doing malware analysis, in either static or dynamic environments, and have a favorite tool or set of tools you use to tear binaries apart.
• You’re familiar with Python and/or Go and have used it for data analysis or to automate the task that made you bored when you were asked to do it more than three (or a thousand) times.
• You regularly use OSINT or threat intelligence to better understand an attack or piece of malware. You effectively communicate your findings and analysis with the team.
• You’re curious about how cyber actors operate, and you’re determined to not let a broken dependency or sinkholed domain stop you from figuring it out. You aren’t afraid to ask for help from your coworkers or network, but you know how to spot a rabbit hole before you’ve gone too deep.

• Define cryptography principles and best practices within the Aptos blockchain and ecosystem.
• Establish cryptographic standards by writing Aptos Improvement Protocols (AIPs).
• Evaluate cryptographic libraries for their safety and performance.
• Design, implement, maintain and audit cryptographic schemes, such as  signature schemes, authenticated data structures, secret sharing, distributed pseudo-random functions, and zero-knowledge proofs
• Publish research work to top conferences
• Contribute across the Rust Blockchain code stack, the Move framework, and many of the SDKs (e.g., Typescript, Python, Rust)
• Work closely with engineering and partner teams.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior experience in cryptography or security
• Experience programming in Rust, TypeScript (JavaScript), or Python
• Familiarity with smart contracts
• Ability to write technical documentation and specifications
• Fluent in English

About the Job

• As a front-end dev at Polygon Labs, you’ll help solve unique, large-scale technical problems & will have the chance to build beautiful user experiences & scalable front-end systems. We expect all our engineers to have a keen eye for detail as well.
• You’ll be working parallel with our design teams and the backend team to build engaging & trustworthy user experiences.

We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development
• Experience building with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• Strong fundamental programming knowledge
• Experience with frontend tooling like webpack, babel, etc.
• Knowledgeable in Web3 frameworks like Web3.js, Ethers.js, Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, etc.
• Understanding of backend APIs and technologies
• Understanding of frontend security
• Experience shipping high-quality products from start to finish
• Attention to detail, especially around performance, accessibility, reliability & security
• Able to think, plan, innovate and execute autonomously
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment

Brownie points for

• Exposure to other frontend frameworks besides React.js
• Exposure to typescript is a plus
• Three.js knowledge
