Background
The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. The EF is not a company or even a traditional non-profit. We do not control Ethereum, nor are we the only organization that funds the critical development of Ethereum-related technologies. We are part of a large ecosystem of organizations, individuals, and companies that support Ethereum. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success.
First introduced in 2022, Devconnect has evolved into a space for deep discussions, co-working, and innovation. This year, we aim to take it even further—transforming Devconnect into a "World’s Fair" for Ethereum, aiming at fostering ecosystem progress, collaboration, and most importantly: adoption. We want to create a Schelling point where the community and newcomers can gather to learn about, showcase, and experience real-world Ethereum applications.
We want to support an ecosystem-wide effort and contribute to the local communities' goal to make Argentina the crypto capital of the world. About the Role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Ethereum and can help us identify and support quality initiatives in Argentina—both in the lead-up to and around Devconnect.
This role has four main aspects:
1. Ethereum Ecosystem Growth in Argentina. Contribute to a broader effort to bring Argentina on-chain, beyond Devconnect. We want you to help accelerate Ethereum adoption by fostering connections and relationships with local municipalities, policymakers, institutions, applications, and communities. This includes facilitating collaborations between traditional organizations and Ethereum-based applications, onboarding local merchants to accept stablecoins, initiating pilot programs, and more.
