The Regional Operations organization (a.k.a. internal geo strategy & operations team) builds the business by ensuring global alignment of goals and execution. Commercial Strategy Associates play a critical role on a team core to Kraken’s global operating effectiveness. You will be expected to operate effectively in a highly cross-functional context, working directly with nearly every team and department in the company. The Opportunity

Report to the Europe Strategy Manager to develop and execute Kraken’s commercial growth strategy in Europe
Drive the execution of new market or product initiatives by providing cross-functional program management to ensure each aspect of the business is covered for Kraken products
Coordinate with Managing Directors, product, finance, compliance, legal teams to build the market or product business plan, design operational flows, and articulate commercial strategy
Support commercial negotiations with partners and build analytical models to assess financial impact for the company
Work with the Marketing team to build launch plans and campaigns to drive consumer awareness and optimize growth
Identify areas of inefficiency, redundancy, bottlenecked progress or scaling challenges between business functions, product launches, and devise and execute process improvements to address them
Develop recommendations to solve critical challenges employing a data driven approach
Present in a clear and concise manner to key stakeholders and influence business decisions across the organization
Cultivate a network within the European crypto industry and develop a deep understanding of crypto products, protocols, and trends to understand how to design processes around them

Skills you should HODL

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, financial services, corporate strategy, program management, or an equivalent entry level position
Interest in and familiarity with both cryptocurrency and traditional financial industries
Experience and proven track record in business management or operations roles in the financial services or technology industries
Familiarity with retail financial products, financial markets and derivatives products, or Web3 protocols
Experience navigating complex operational hurdles in hyper-growth companies
Experience with international environments and working across geographies

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct deep-dive analysis on key ecosystem players, encompassing both ad-hoc reporting as well as building and maintaining dashboards.
Ensure the zkSync ecosystem is accurately and comprehensively represented in public datasets, actively contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of both new and existing data.
Data Analysis and Insights: Extract, analyze, and interpret relevant data to understand the blockchain ecosystem and provide actionable insights.
Blockchain Analytics: Monitor and analyze blockchain data to assess network health, user behavior, transaction patterns, etc.
