As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our efforts in acquiring and managing relationships with investment funds, specifically in the staking sector.
As a Sales Manager at Nansen, you will lead go-to-market in our staking services, a new territory and product offering for us. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with institutional investors and funds, introducing them to Nansen's staking offerings. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the market presence of Nansen in a new key strategic area.
The ideal candidate is preferably located in Singapore or similar timezone.
What You'll Do:
- Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for staking services, including identifying key market segments and potential clients.
- Client Acquisition: Leverage your existing network to identify, target, and acquire institutional investors and funds, building a robust pipeline of prospects in the staking space.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the investment community, particularly those interested in staking services.
- Sales Leadership: Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives for staking products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to tailor our staking offerings to meet market demand and client expectations.
- Performance Tracking: Provide regular reports on progress, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business goals in the staking sector.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data, including competitor activities and client feedback, to inform strategic decisions and product development in staking services.
What You'll Need:
- Experience: At least 5+ years sales experience, with a proven track record selling into funds. Experience working in a customer facing role at either a staking firm or a custodian
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the staking landscape within the wider crypto ecosystem. Strong existing relationships with funds and high-net-worth individuals interested in crypto staking.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Attributes: Self-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
