Senior Tax Manager ( US and Americas Tax Compliance and Accounting ) @ Crypto
- Actively manage the US federal and state tax compliance and tax accounting process, ensuring that all activities occur in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and/or review detailed workpapers to support federal and state income tax compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and manage the quarterly US income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations, in accordance with ASC740 and IFRS, including rate reconciliation.
- Assist with tax audit review processes with external group auditors.
- Lead the US tax accounting aspects of acquisitions and other transactional activities and ensure proper integration of acquisitions.
- Work closely with the transfer pricing team and review aspects of key intercompany transactions (financing, support services)
- Lead or assist with other special projects and process improvements
- CPA or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience with Big 4 public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department in a public company
- Strong background in ASC740 and IFRS tax accounting and reporting and leading compliance processes
- Proven experience with managing complex US tax matters
- Experience with managing tax matters in multiple countries is preferred
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles and their practical implementation
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and communication skills
- A high-level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and open-minded personality and "Hands-on" work mentality
- Well organized and hardworking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure

Crypto is hiring a Senior Tax Manager ( US and Americas Tax Compliance and Accounting ) 
We are looking to recruit a Manager of US and Americas Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting, located in Chicago, to manage the rapidly growing tax compliance and tax accounting function in the Crypto.com Americas region. In this position, you will focus on US federal and state tax compliance, planning, and reporting matters of the US business, as well as manage the Canadian corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and Canadian indirect tax reporting matters. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in Brazilian tax matters (with the assistance of external tax advisors). This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to be involved in key work streams of the tax function.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax (located in Asia), and with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Finance - US, the successful candidate will work closely with one direct report, located in Chicago, and play a key role in managing all areas of the Americas tax function.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team player who also leads by example, implements tax plans and works with cross-functional teams to identify value creation opportunities and strategies to mitigate tax risk.

Crypto is hiring a Head of Listed Options Operations and Client Service (Chicago-Based)
Foris Capital US LLC* is seeking an experienced options professional to join our FINRAmember broker/dealer and grow the regulated securities business of Crypto.com. This role will require you to advance the strategic and business objectives of the broker/dealer by overseeing the build of a platform aimed at self-service retail options investors. After launch, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the options business.
The successful candidate will have extensive options experience and knowledge related to options trading, settlement & clearing, along with proven experience in managing exercises, assignments, and expiration. Experience working with Apex Clearing is a plus. FINRA Series 24, 7, and 4 licenses are required, along with a history of supervising registered representatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to help operate a new business line as part of the overall Crypto.com enterprise

Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational and technology activities of the securities business to providecustomers access to regulated options products;
- Work closely with operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance teams tocomplete build and launch of the options platform;
- Oversee day-to-day operational compliance of the broker/dealer with FINRA regulatoryrequirements;
- Manage the formation, training and supervision of an options client service group whowill be the face of the firm to our customers;
- Build and maintain strong relationships and be the point of contact for key partners, vendors and stakeholders;
- Liaise with industry regulatory bodies and ensure all requirements, including dailyand monthly reporting are completed.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience in a managerial position in the FINRA-regulated securities industry;
- FINRA Series 7, 4, and 24 with direct supervision experience;
- Clean regulatory record with no Disclosure Events;
- Experience in the operations of a broker/dealer and connectivity to clearing brokers,exchanges, and market infrastructure;
- Experience working with Apex Clearing is a plus;
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as operations, technology, risk,marketing, sales, finance, etc;
- In-depth knowledge of regulated options workflows & processes including margin accounts, simple and complex options settlement, exercise, and expiration; and thecross-border offering of such products from the US.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, problem-solving, operational, and technology skills;
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills;
- The role is in-office with hybrid possibilities, located in Chicago.
