Head of Derivatives (Futures)
Responsbilities
- Be the owner of company's cryptocurrency futures products and services, mastering their core functions and operational mechanisms
- Design the crypto asset trading products for margin, futures, perpetual swap and options, including backend and frontend/UX scope.
- Provide product roadmap based on the life cycle characteristics of the product, competitive analysis, user feedback and data.
- Collect product feedback from internal and external sources, and optimize the product plan through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Monitor the project progress and coordinate with developers, designers, marketing team, operations, compliance/legal and other stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor industry dynamics and regulatory trends to ensure the company's operations and products comply with the latest regulatory requirements
- Lead a cross-functional team, including product, risk management, and customer support, coordinate the work of various departments and promote efficient collaboration
- Formulate and execute a well-crafted business growth strategy to increase the company's market share and customer loyalty
Requirements
- 5+ years of futures or financial derivatives operations management experience, with a background in the cryptocurrency industry
- In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations, and the ability to ensure the company's operations are compliant and legal
- Proficient in the functions and operational mechanisms of cryptocurrency futures products, familiar with customer needs
- Possess excellent strategic thinking and execution capabilities to drive continuous business growth
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills, able to effectively coordinate cross-departmental collaboration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at data-driven decision making
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities, capable of establishing good relationships with various stakeholders
- Experience in designing or trading financial products such as funds, forex, futures, options, etc.
