Accounting Manager (Finance Projects/Transformation)

Responsibilities
- Perform data validation and reconciliation works to test completeness and accuracy of data from different data sources
- Perform testing on various areas of inventory system as tasked by Senior Accounting Manager
- Assist the Senior Accounting Manager to prepare guiding accounting entries relevant to platform activities across different products and business units
- Provide project management support to Senior Accounting Manager to drive adoption and implementation of the inventory system
- Provide ad-hoc support to system users to investigate, troubleshoot and/or report issues (depending on complexity and severity) to tech support
- Documentation of detailed user guide for the inventory system specific to month end close process
- Other ad-hoc tasks determined by the Senior Accounting Manager
Requirements
- Between 8-10 years of experience in a combination of industry, preferably in FinTech, FMCG or Financial Services
- Bachelors degree and a Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar)
- Deep experience in multi-currency and regional accounting operations
- Hands-on and confident in handling large datasets for reconciliation and data validation (strong Excel skills)
- Working experience across various accounting & finance systems
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
- Adapt to a face paced continuous learning environment and show a willingness to take on additional responsibility, where required
- Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with a desire to stay informed about industry developments and trends
- Experienced in UATs
