Business Development & Partnerships Director @ Wintermute-trading
- Grow institutional OTC business in Asia - this includes developing and executing your own growth plan in regards to Asia banks, asset managers and funds
- Work closely with other teams to bring new products (e.g. new derivatives products) to the market, this includes collecting customer feedback, testing products, launch plans, etc
- Grow the crypto project Liquidity provision business - deepen and build relationships with high profile projects in the region, as well as local VCs and other important ecosystem players
- Growth partner relationships with important partners such as exchanges, custodians, lenders and other infrastructure providers
- Work with various cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness in the key markets in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, S. Korea, Japan, South-East Asia, Australia)
- Execute a structured business development process and work with the teams to further improve operational efficiency (e.g. CRM, effectiveness of campaigns, etc)
- Keep track of key launches and news in the crypto eco-system and proactively identify cooperation and business development opportunities
- Experience in both traditional financial and digital assets services from high performing teams and institutions.
- 3+ years of FICC sales experience (voice or electronic), working with institutional clients
- eCommerce experience would also be advantageous.
- Experience with spot and derivatives OTC products, especially options is required.
- Experience in business development, partnerships or any client-facing role within financial services.

- Product Strategy:
- Develop a mid-term product roadmap based on deep market understanding, user feedback and product vision.
- Propose/prioritise differentiated functionality leading to a larger-scale product vision.

C++ Quantitative Developer - Options Technology @ Wintermute-trading

Legal Counsel @ Wintermute-trading
- Lead legal-commercial negotiations: draft and negotiate agreements in relation to our business lines (OTC, liquidity provision, derivatives documentation, trading agreements, software agreements, and others)
- Regulatory research & compliance guidance: work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy GC to monitor the legal and regulatory landscapes across jurisdictions; support financial regulatory compliance under each regulatory regime (FCA, MAS, SEC, CTFC, etc.); advise and support guidance on regulation of decentralized finance and protocols
- Corporate: support and manage the corporate structure and governance across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Disputes and claims: assist the legal team and the business to resolve any commercial disputes efficiently while protecting the Company’s interests
- External counsel: Manage external counsel as required, e.g. employment law, counsel in relation to other jurisdictions, etc. Assist with managing legal spend and review legal bills
- 2-6 years of experience practicing law (qualified) at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel for a firm specialized in financial services, fintech and/or crypto;
- Experience working in a high-performance, dynamic and high-growth environment is strongly preferred; self-motivation and drive is essential
- Strong grasp of commercial law in relation to financial services, e.g. ISDAs, financial services contracts, trading agreements and others (OTC, structured products, lending agreements etc.)
- In depth knowledge of regulations in relation to proprietary trading, financial services and crypto specifically those in the UK, Singapore, the USA and/or EU, general knowledge of regulations in other jurisdictions

- Onboarding new counterparties in a timely manner
- Conduct reviews of counterparties’ documentations, and ensure that information obtained is consistent with the Firm’s AML/CTF procedures
- Complete periodic KYC reviews and refresh of onboarding documentations as necessary
- Assist in the management, maintenance and review of appropriate onboarding documentations
- Complete risk assessments for both new and existing counterparties, identifying any potential AML/CTF concerns and escalating this to the MLRO when necessary

We are looking for an Algorithmic Trader with strong coding skills (Python) and a curiosity about hft, liquidity provision and crypto trading. At Wintermute, you will be responsible for your own “desk” right from the start. What will you work on

Nature of the Role
