Webisoft is software development team focused on web3 & emerging technologies.

The team is looking for an experienced Go Developer (Cosmos SDK) to join our team. The ideal candidate has worked on and shipped web3 projects in DeFi and has written smart contracts from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a scalable blockchain-based application
• Develop necessary code base in Go and/or other backend-oriented languages
• Participate in a research process about traits, solutions, trends and security measures required for proper use of blockchain technology
• Write and helping to maintain automated tests
• Identify security risks
• Provide accurate timing estimates on work
• Contribute to documentation (instructional and technical specification)
• Discuss technical solutions and providing innovative new ideas to established problems

What You Bring:

• Experience with Cosmos SDK
• Few years of professional experience with Go programming language
• Proficiency in other programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or Rust
• Previous experience in building enterprise-grade solutions for specialized platforms (Blockchain, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
• Good knowledge of security best practices
• Comfortable setting up environment from scratch
• Comfortable working in Linux environment, MySQL and NoSQL
• Initiative, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
• Work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Comfortable working in an agile environment

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience maintaining a large codebase with many components and keeping it well-designed, future-proofed, and modular
• Experience with distributed systems, peer-to-peer systems, network programming, or cryptography
• Bilingual English, French, and any other languages an asset
