Umee is seeking a Senior Front End Developer who is experienced in UI/UX and writing software for user interfaces. You will be working alongside our developer team to build a cross chain DeFi application with high coding standards and technical design.

The right candidate has 3+ years in the blockchain space, and is proficient in software development as well as having strong technical skills in writing front end code. Candidates would benefit strongly from having a deep fundamental software development knowledge base.

What you will be doing:

• Develop new user facing features
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability

• Debug, profile and search for bottlenecks
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
• Define how applications look and how they work
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 3+ years of experience in crypto
• Preferably Cosmos blockchain experience
• Strong experience with software delivery and taking a set of requirements towards full implementation with minimal guidance
• Javascript frameworks like React, Redux, Angular, Vue
• Proficient in Javascript frameworks including JQuery
• Depth of knowledge and implementation experience
• Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, SVN
• Good understanding of SEO principles
• HTML CSS
• Experience in agile software development
• Familiarity with Cosmos SDK, Solidity, EVM or other blockchain based ecosystems
• Ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively, with the team and internal/external organizations

Umee is seeking a Cosmos blockchain engineer who is experienced in developing high performance code. You will be working alongside our engineering team to build a Cosmos DeFi application with high coding standards and technical design.

The right candidate has 3+ years in the blockchain space, and is proficient in software development as well as having strong technical skills in assessing the blockchain industry as a whole. Candidates would benefit strongly from having a deep fundamental software development knowledge base

What you will be doing:

• Building blockchain applications
• Measure system performance, check metrics and logs
• Cover code by unit tests and run integration tests
• Debug, profile and search for bottlenecks
• Collaborate on the design of data models, technical architecture, data flows, schemas and API contracts
• Develop and improve scalable backend systems
• Conducting technical due diligence and understanding dynamics/tradeoffs between different blockchain protocols

What you will be doing:

• 3+ years of Rust, Golang, Java, Rust or C++
• Strong experience with software delivery and taking a set of requirements towards full implementation with minimal guidance
• Experience with RESTful programming conventions
• Extensive knowledge of software design paradigms in large-scale environments, distributed systems
• Understand Unix system internals, client/server protocols, and data storage systems in a cloud environment
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and coding principles
• Excellent understanding of containers, deployment systems, and container management platforms, preferably Kubernetes
• Understand the infrastructure monitoring agent and agent-less architecture

Umee is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work with a cross functional team. The right candidate has 2+ years of DevOps experience and has a proven track record of setting up automation and operations of blockchain networks and Google Cloud Infrastructures.

Bonus if a candidate has experience in setting up a Cosmos blockchain network and has worked with the Cosmos blockchain stack. Your work will be hugely impactful, as you will be working within a team that acts as the driver for innovation in the crypto space.

What you will be doing:

• Build secure and reliable cloud infrastructure to monitor, detect and mitigate performance and security issues
• Build testnets, devnets to meet the engineering team’s testing and release schedules
• Automate and streamline DevOps processes
• System administration activities including routine, proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 2+ year experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in crypto; preferable Cosmos network experience
• High proficiency with Cloud or infrastructure-as-code experience
• Experience with GCP and AWS and knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud native technologies
• High proficiency with containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)
• Experience in scripting – Shell scripts, Python or Go preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between cross functional teams
