We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team and contribute to making Taiko the easiest Ethereum environment for developers to build on. You will be responsible for helping the ecosystem partners to integrate smoothly into Taiko, helping the BD team on technical conversations, and creating resources and initiatives to make their experience exceptional. You will also represent Taiko in different conferences around the world.

About the role

• Bridge the gap between developers and business. Being able to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understand the needs of our ecosystem partners, helping them on integrations, solving technical questions and managing the relationship alongside the Partnerships team.
• Interface with developers to turn their feedback and frictions into product directions for the engineering team.
• Participate in conferences around the globe, representing Taiko on the ground and jumping on stage where needed.
• Organize and lead events, Hackatons, and other developer-focused programs.

About you

• Strong understanding of Ethereum and its application ecosystem.
• Understanding of L2 scaling solutions and cryptographic primitives.
• Experience as a software engineer, or in a developer relations role, or existing integration within the Ethereum/solidity dev community.
• Willingness to work directly with partners. High people and communication skills is required.
• Willingness to travel to hackathons and other community events.
• Highly curious and always learning.

We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to join our team and contribute to making Taiko the easiest Ethereum environment for developers to build on. You will be responsible for educating the developer community about Taiko and creating resources and initiatives to make their experience exceptional. You will also represent the developer community’s interest and act as their voice to inform our roadmap.

About the role

• Craft the developer onboarding experience, and support them throughout their development lifecycle
• Interface with the community of developers to turn their feedback and frictions into product directions for the engineering team
• Contribute to and help maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, and create content aimed at educating and onboarding developer communities
• Engage with the developer community on Twitter, Discord, GitHub or wherever our builders congregate

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the client team developing the nodes that will run our ZK-EVM. The Taiko L2 client is based on a fork of Geth and relies heavily on learnings from Ethereum clients. The ideal candidate has expert experience with Go, is familiar with blockchain infrastructure, and can write high-quality, high-performance, clean code. In the future, the team will also work on alternative execution client implementations.

About the role

• Write code for the Taiko L2 client in Golang
• implement, improve, and test Taiko Based Contestable Rollup (BCR)
• Security testing and optimization of the L2 client
• Working collaboratively with our Proving System team

About you

• 4+ years of development experience in Golang.
• Experience with Ethereum and at least one Ethereum client codebase such as Geth/Reth.
• Experience with performance optimization and high-load projects
• Security-minded and always learning
• A deep sense of ownership in your work, capable of seeing a complex project through from start to finish
• One year experience with DevOps, familiar with docker-compose and Kubernetes
• Familiar with CI/CD and automation best practices such as with GitHub actions and release processes

About the role:

As a Community Success Manager at Taiko, you will play a key role in fostering an engaged and thriving community of Taiko users and developers. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with our community members, solving their problems, and accelerating the adoption of Taiko. You’ll be the first touch point with our community, and create an atmosphere that provides a positive and welcoming home for our new and existing community members.

Besides Community Management functions, this role has a distinctive role in supporting our ecosystem partners in maintaining effective relations after any integration by coordinating PR activities, creating and reviewing announcements and monitoring the ongoing relationship, among others.

Responsibilities:

Community engagement:

• Work with Taiko’s existing Community Manager and Head of Community, to develop and implement strategies to engage the Taiko community across various channels, including but not limited to Discord, social media, and developer communities.
• Interact with Taiko’s community members, addressing their queries, providing assistance, and facilitating discussions on a daily basis.
• Organize and moderate Community Calls, AMAs, video livecasts, and other initiatives to foster belonging and collaboration among the Taiko community.
• Participate in external events/public conversations/hackathons.

Partner success:

• Work with Taiko’s existing and future partners to coordinate PR activities.
• This role will include drafting announcements of our partnerships/integrations towards our community and social media in general, as much as reviewing the content that our partners may create on their end before it’s released.
• Work directly with the Partnerships team to monitor the relation with partners for potential identification of future co-campaigns/activities.

• This role has the distinctive responsibility of creating high-quality content on Taiko’s Twitter & other social media accounts.
• This role will also be responsible opening up any future accounts/channels to expand our communications, e.g. implement ways to cover our ecosystem news.
• Manage and engage in other forums, such as Discord, Discourse and Reddit. Posting updates, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful conversations.

About you – you should have:

• Minimum 2 years of Community Manager or similar relevant working experience in the Ethereum/ZK/blockchain space.
• Good to have: experience in marketing, event organization.
• Be flexible as you may be required to work unsociable hours from time to time.
• Genuine interest and knowledge in the zk-rollup/zkEVM/Ethereum space. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent writing skills, with a proven ability to create high-quality content for different mediums.
• Your existing public writing plays a significant role in how we evaluate candidates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with willingness to engage in public communication through community calls, videos, and hackathons. Ready to travel.
• Native/fluent in English language. Other languages are a plus.
