About the Job

• As a front-end dev at Polygon Labs, you’ll help solve unique, large-scale technical problems & will have the chance to build beautiful user experiences & scalable front-end systems. We expect all our engineers to have a keen eye for detail as well.
• You’ll be working parallel with our design teams and the backend team to build engaging & trustworthy user experiences.

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development
• Experience building with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.

About the role

• As an SPM/Director of PM, you will be required to take ownership of the product team from the conception of products to launch for new product initiatives - with an emphasis on the mobile-first UX.
• You will play a key role in the ideation and development of products, along with the people management with your impact felt every step of the way.
• You should be able to effectively collaborate with all the stakeholders, typically engineering, design, and growth to develop and steer the product roadmap.
• Your goal is to leverage the unique capabilities of Polygon to develop experimental products that explores new use cases for blockchain technology and create solutions that delight and empower our users.

What we are looking for

• The ideal candidate has experience leading product teams prior, a deep understanding of the principles of product management, and knowledge of how NFTs and the Web3 industry works.
• 5+ years of experience in managing products with 3+ years of leading product teams.
• Good expertise and experience in the Mobile ecosystem, specifically at the OS/ROM level
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about the blockchain space, and a knowledge and understanding of mobile first development
• Adaptable/flexible -- enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.

What is expected

• Lead a product management team in which you motivate and achieve steady improvements in your area
• Define both long-term and short strategy and roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact based on customer requirements and market research.
• Work with OEMs to develop a strong mobile stack and strategy, build custom ROMs on top of AOSP, etc.
• Definition, monitoring of the company's relevant KPIs, and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set
• Partner with business stakeholders, design, and engineering teams and drive an inclusive and innovation-focused culture of evaluating product ideas. Manage two-way communications with key stakeholders including senior management.
• Lead cross-functional teams, mentor younger PMs, and contribute towards building a stronger product culture in the team
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to build products that customers love. Produce high-quality product specifications, drive execution by creating mockups, conduct acceptance tests, and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver products and features on time.

• Execute month-end close processes, including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts within a complex entity structure

• Working to improve and maintain the reliability and availability of our services.
• Actively troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing and deployment, catching and solving issues before launch.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field, or 7+ years of progressive relevant experience.
• You have good knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructure, and Linux/Unix system administration tasks on varied linux distributions with deep knowledge of linux fundamentals.
• Experience with Debian & RedHat derivatives like Ubuntu or CentOS & successors preferred.
• Experience with managing SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RDS, InfluxDB, & LevelDB.
• Knowledge of scripting languages; Bash is a must, Javascript & Python are good. Knowledge of systems programming languages like GoLang & Rust are great.
• Experience with configuration management tooling like Puppet, Chef, Saltstack, etc. Ansible is a must; Hashicorp tool experience is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of IaC tooling like TerraformFamiliarity with Docker and other container environments along with container orchestration tools like Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Experience with continuous Integration and continuous delivery tools, like Jenkins, CircleCI, Github Actions, etc.
• More than five years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role); experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.
• Must have extensive AWS cloud experience and familiarity configuring, scaling, tuning and monitoring the range of AWS services. A multi-cloud background with strong experience in any of GCP, Azure, ACS, & Digital Ocean or other clouds in addition to AWS would be excellent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes to both technical and non-technical audiences as needed.
• You have experience producing operational and design documentation for the things you build, and have written blameless post-mortem docs after troubleshooting service issues.

• Developer Studio is a thriving unit inside Polygon Labs that takes care of enhancing user experience on the chain, you will be a part of this team. We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who is passionate about providing exceptional support & guidance.The MIS team is responsible for the management and integration of our SaaS suite, IT support, device management and IT project delivery. We’re the backbone of the Polygon IT ecosystem supporting multiple teams & departments globally.What you'll doYou’ll help our distributed team work effectively, providing IT support & guidance in desktop support, SaaS apps (including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack) and managing security and compliance of our end user devices using our MDM. You will also be involved in projects, coordinating with the Solutions Engineers and other key stakeholders from various teams across the organisation.

The Role

• Providing IT support to the Polygon team, including: help using SaaS tools (including Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, Okta, Jira), Windows/Mac support, making sure users have access to what they need.
• Responding to requests logged in ticketing system and escalating when needed
• Initially onboarding devices into our newly created MDM system then maintaining it going forward
• Asking for more information on the issue when required
• Contribute to the development of end-user training plans and documentation
• Monitor alerts from SaaS tools, MDM & other systems to detect service issues
• Maintaining the knowledge base
• Flagging recurring issues for further investigation
• Suggesting or implementing automations to improve efficiency
• Follow best practice policies and procedures for user, device & SaaS app management
• Contribute to the development of end-user training plans and documentation

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in an IT service desk for medium to large organisation - preferably remote
• Experience supporting SaaS applications including Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, 
• Experience using SSO/SAML preferable with Okta
• You've managed virtual meeting software and remote conference sessions with global attendees, and meetings sizes 200+
• Experience with supporting Windows, MacOS & Linux
• High aptitude for understanding and learning new software packages
• Significant experience using MDM software to standardize tools deployment across org teams and devices
• ITIL certification is a plus
• Experience with scripting or automations for recurring processes is a plus
