As Mangrove’s Community Manager, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the growth of a project that will redefine the rules of decentralized finance, by creating and nurturing the Mangrove community.

You will be an integral part of the Marketing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing, Engineering, and Business Development teams in strategizing and executing the community management strategies
• Build, animate, nurture, and grow the Mangrove community
• Provide support to the Mangrove community
• Write both technical and easy-to-understand content about Mangrove: blog posts, newsletters, Twitter threads, discord announcements…
• Create questlines to bring developers
• Organise online AMA, interviews, workshops, and IRL events & hackathons

Who is Mangrove’s DeFi Community Manager?

• Located in a timezone close to CET (Europe)
• Full English proficiency level
• Critical thinker and well-organized self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative
• Exceptional communication and marketing skills
• Familiar with open-source culture and software engineering
• 3+ years of working experience in Community Management and Marketing in Blockchain and DeFi
• 1+ year experience using DeFi, web3 and writing about it (DeFi threads, blog articles..)
• Solid understanding of financial markets & DeFi
• Obsessed with creating an active and healthy community oriented towards the growth of a decentralised project
• Strong evidence of animating and engaging crypto communities
• Able to work autonomously

Even better if you have/are:

• Experience working remotely/with remote teams
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or a related field
• Able to speak various languages

Hey, welcome to the Mangrove! We are reinventing decentralized exchanges, the cornerstone of decentralized finance. For 18 months, our world-class team of computer scientists, quants, and product experts have been stealthily building on the vision of the first programmable exchange, that will enable a brand new range of financial applications!

Now that we have closed our second funding round and we are approaching the public launch, it is time to build a developer community and integrations with partners that can leverage the power of Mangrove.

Job Description

As Mangrove’s Developer Relations and Pre-sales Engineer you will play a key role in growing the ecosystem of Mangrove’s programmable DEX and exploring its entirely novel design space for trading strategies across the DeFi space.

Your responsibilities will cover two roles:

• Pre-sales / technical partnerships:
  • Participate in meetings with potential clients and partners
  • Demo Mangrove and other products
  • Analyze and understand partners’ technical needs, requirements, and technical solutions and possible integrations/synergies/friction points between them and Mangrove.
  • Communicate needs & requirements to Product & Engineering
  • Facilitate solution design together with Product & Engineering
  • Write solution descriptions.
• Developer relations:
  • Build and nurture the developers community, both in person (hackathons & conferences) and on Discord, Telegram & Twitter.
  • Plan & coordinate DevRel activities together with Marketing
    • AMA’s, workshops, hackathon, training, surveys, conferences, …
  • Write tutorials, technical & use-case articles and ensure that the documentation is up-to-date
  • Active participation in developer events, e.g. conferences
  • Collect developers’ needs & requests and share them with Product & Engineering
  • Manage the knowledge base for external developers.

You are an experienced software engineer with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial markets & DeFi who enjoy engaging with people. Concretely, you’ll make good use of these competencies:

• Explaining technical solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Full professional fluency in English (oral and written)
• Strong technical understanding and analytical skills.

This position can either be remote or at our offices in Paris and Copenhagen. If remote, you’re located in a timezone close to CET, and frequent meetings IRL are to be expected. Also, frequent travels is an integral part of this role.

As Mangrove’s Content Producer, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the growth of a project that will redefine the rules of decentralized finance, by creating and leading technical and marketing-oriented content around Mangrove.

You will be an integral part of the Marketing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing, Engineering, and Business Development teams in strategizing and executing the content and social media strategies
• Write high-quality, SEO-friendly, and easy-to-understand technical content around Mangrove (DeFi, DEXes topics): blog posts, press releases, technical explainers, tutorials, newsletters, Twitter threads, website updates, discord announcements…
• Write both technical and simplified documentation about Mangrove
• Create presentation materials for conferences, hackathons, and contacts with stakeholders

Who is Mangrove’s Senior DeFi Content Producer?

• Located in a timezone close to CET (Europe)
• Full English proficiency level
• Critical thinker and well-organized self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative
• Exceptional copy-writing and communication skills
• Familiar with open-source culture and software engineering
• 3+ years of working experience in content production in Finance/FinTech and ideally in Blockchain and DeFi
• 1+ year experience using DeFi and web3
• Solid understanding of financial markets & DeFi
• Obsessed with creating quality and easy-to-digest content
• Strong evidence of creating quality, engaging, easy-to-understand long and short technical content (Blog posts, Twitter threads, presentation decks, and technical documentation)
• Able to work autonomously
