We are looking for a Business Development team member to work alongside our Head of Growth & BD. The heart of this role lies in being a highly motivated and relentless ambassador for Chronicle within our partner ecosystems (L1s/ L2s, asset issuers, risk managers, foundations, DAO’s and apps using our Oracle services) to drive growth and adoption of the protocol. We are a lean team, so this role is for someone who enjoys being hands-on and having full ownership and autonomy over their work.

What You’ll Work On

• High level participation in partner ecosystem groups (i.e. Telegram and Discord) driving engagement and business leads for Chronicle.
• Lead generation and outreach to prospective Oracle customers in the Defi vertical
• Act as an intermediary between our technical team and external partners to help facilitate the technical integration for partner on-boarding.
• Represent Chronicle at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build relationships and drive business development.
• Analyze current trends in DeFi and share briefings on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive analysis.
• Implement the brand’s voice strategy across all touch points, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values and objectives

Job Requirements

• At least 2yrs experience within web3/defi/crypto.
• At least of 2-3 years experience in Business Development/Partnerships or Account management (preferably in DeFi).
• Strong analytical skills to understand and communicate technical and industry-related information effectively
• Technical familiarity with Oracles, blockchain infrastructure and a strong understanding of decentralized applications, and real interest in expanding their adoption.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a style that is direct and clear.
• Detail oriented in capturing and relaying information about leads and partner integrations that other teams like engineering and marketing can coordinate and take action on.
• Strong interpersonal skills that make it easy for you to collaborate with and expand relationships with partners, the web3 community and the internal team.
• Experience working with and ability to maintain a CRM for account management tracking that will be used cross functionally.
• Fluent in English (and degenglish), both written and spoken.
• Ability to operate autonomously, across multiple time zones and with a “bias for action” mindset
• Ability to travel visa free to EU and USA

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer based in the Asia Pacific time zones to work alongside our Senior DevOps Engineer. We are a lean team, so this role is for someone who enjoys being hands-on and having full ownership and autonomy over their work.

What You’ll Work On

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using EKS Kubernetes / Digital Ocean DKO, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, focusing on automation and consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
• Orchestrate and monitor the deployment of various blockchain RPC nodes (EVM nodes, Layer 2 nodes, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Implement and manage cloud-native monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, Mimir, and Loki, ensuring robust observability and operational insights.
• Embrace a GitOps workflow using Argocd for continuous deployment, enhancing collaboration and streamlining the deployment process.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Helm templating extensively, ensuring efficient container orchestration and application deployment.
• Manage virtual network infrastructure on AWS, including DNS/domain management, firewall configuration, and load balancing.
• Implement and oversee logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of systems.
• Coordinate with development teams to identify key metrics for monitoring, setting appropriate alerting thresholds.
• Collaborate on continuous integration and deployment strategies, working closely with development teams and QA engineers.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of security strategies and policies, fostering a culture of security awareness.
• Provide internal support for cloud services, troubleshoot issues, and communicate incident reports clearly.

Job Requirements

• In-depth experience with AWS cloud services; familiarity with other cloud providers is a plus.
• Proficient in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Strong skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing container clusters using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience in monitoring, observability, debugging, and performance tuning using tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with on-call responsibilities, preferably using PagerDuty.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (Github Actions, Argo Workflows, Argo events etc)
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture (kafka)
• Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and experience in managing blockchain RPC nodes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

What you will be doing:

• Delivering best in class dashboards that are bridging paradigms of WEB2 and WEB3 for our customers
• Perform technical analysis, design, testing, documentation, and construction tasks for development and maintenance work on back-end services, reusable building blocks, and front-end web applications
• brainstorming about new ideas to improve the customer’s experience
• working together with our UX/UI designer to create a beautiful website
• Documenting software specs and development processes and occasionally preparing project technical memos for our developers community

The Mission

We’re seeking a Junior Smart Contract Developer, preferably located in time zones between UTC+0 to UTC+2, to collaborate with our Engineers. As a vital member of our lean team, this role offers hands-on involvement and full ownership of your work.

The Mission

• We strive to maintain technical leadership by offering cost-efficient, verifiable, blockchain-agnostic, and decentralized Oracles for the Web3 ecosystem.
• Our product aims for high availability, deployed on multiple nodes with zero downtime. It’s traceable, enabling you to follow a request across various services.

What you will be doing

• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Oracle contracts on multiple chains
• Researching and integrating new EVM chains (L1s, L2s, …)
• Conducting internal security audits of smart contracts and protocols and continuous fuzzing of on-chain systems
• Developing highly optimized and well-tested smart contracts based on the latest research
• Going from research to PoCs up to production for new smart contracts

Requirements

• Strong foundational CS knowledge
• Ability to work independently and deliver working products within deadlines – from empty Git repo to fully-deployed on-chain contracts
• Knowledge of Solidity and the inner workings of the EVM
• Practical experience with Ethereum’s native cryptography
• Security-focused mindset
• Experience using the Foundry toolkit
• Knowledge and experience of rigorous testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, stateless/stateful fuzzing, and formal verification.
• Good understanding of the current EVM landscape, e.g., L2s, blobs, EIPs, EVM fragmentation
