The role:

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager with a robust background in the crypto and Web3 sector to join our team. This role requires deep familiarity with pivotal social media platforms in the crypto community, particularly Twitter and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing vibrant communities and creating content that resonates with crypto enthusiasts. An interest in the intersection of Web3 and Sports would be gold.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Chiliz’s brand goals, emphasizing engagement, growth, and community building.
• Work with the team to take charge of our Twitter and YouTube channels, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and tailored to the crypto-savvy audience. Explore and optimize other platforms where crypto users are highly active.
• Actively support in managing and grow our online communities, fostering discussions, responding to queries, and maintaining a positive environment. Drive engagement through regular updates, AMAs, and interactive content.
• Develop and curate compelling content that highlights Chiliz’s innovations, partnerships, and milestones in the crypto and sports arenas. Ensure all content is on-brand, with a consistent tone and style.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using insights to refine strategies and increase effectiveness. Set and strive for clear KPIs related to engagement and community growth.
• Work closely with the marketing, product, and tech teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and timely updates on product developments.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in social media and crypto, adapting strategies to leverage emerging tools and platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with at least 3 years in the cryptocurrency industry.
• Expertise in managing Twitter and YouTube accounts with significant followings and proven ability to grow and engage online communities.
• Strong understanding of the dynamics of crypto communities and the elements that drive engagement and loyalty.
• Excellent content creation skills, with a knack for crafting informative and engaging posts that are tailored to a diverse audience.
• Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with followers diplomatically and dynamically.
• Previous experience working in a top-tier crypto company is highly desirable.

• Develop Comprehensive Marketing Strategies
• Formulate and execute end-to-end marketing strategies aligned with Chiliz’s objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing efforts seamlessly across Chiliz-powered platforms and partnerships.
• Campaign Development and Execution
• Create and maintain a marketing campaign calendar and be able to communicate that effectively.
• Conceptualize, plan, and implement integrated marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, optimizing strategies for maximum impact.
• Collaborate with other teams cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding throughout the Chiliz-powered community experience.
• Manage campaign deployment by ensuring that all key stakeholders are given the right space, meet deadlines, and that all come together in a seamless delivery.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in sports, entertainment, and blockchain.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities and challenges, providing actionable insights to refine Chiliz’s marketing strategies.
• Utilize analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
• Implement strategies for leveraging data to enhance targeted marketing efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing roles, focusing on marketing strategy development.
• Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns within the Web 3 and/or blockchain space.
• Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, setting priorities, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of Web 3 technologies, blockchain, and decentralized applications.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in the digital and crypto space.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to data-driven insights.
• Proficiency in using data analytics tools to derive insights and inform decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of marketing professionals focused on the execution of marketing initiatives.

The role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Blockchain Engineer to join our team of talented developers who share a common interest in distributed systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will be part of the team responsible for building the Chiliz chain that powers the Socios platform.

• Building Web3 interfaces that are directly interacting with the blockchain
• Mentor and guide other engineers in advancing their skills and knowledge in Blockchain development
• Maintain and improve existing products
• Work closely with engineers and product managers on new features
• Ensure code quality through tests, in accordance with good practices
• Participate in code reviews
• Anticipate scalability and performance issues
• Be a force of technical and functional proposals

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in developing Blockchain applications
• Must be based in Europe
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to mentor and effectively convey complex technical concepts
• Very good knowledge of Solidity or Vyper
• Good knowledge of EVM compatible chains
• Experience writing/working on protocols and/or blockchain clients (Geth, Erigon, Reth)
• Good knowledge with best practices for securing smart contracts and App development
• Good understanding of different consensus algorithms used in blockchain
• Good knowledge of tools like: Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, Brownie, Slither, Solhint, etc.
• Knowledge of decentralised infrastructure: components such as IPFS, Swarm, and Whisper.
• Good level of basic tools: Git, VSCode, JIRA
• Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to explore new things; curious;

Good to have:

• Any other Blockchain knowledge (other blockchains, scaling solutions, … )
• Previous mentoring experience
