You will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing internal tooling to enable multiple departments within Chainlink Labs. We need an experienced full-stack developer, with extensive blockchain knowledge and experience, who is also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a career-defining opportunity. Your Impact

Requirements

• Knowing your way around the Ethereum ecosystem and using or deploying your own smart contracts.
• Proven experience working with highly technical teams with complex operational requirements.
• Experience developing web applications/services and backend APIs
• Strong software engineering skills in Golang, Rust, and TypeScript
• Designing, building, and implementing back-end infrastructure for custom applications/services and APIs; familiarity with AWS

As a Blockchain Operations - Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for auditing and facilitating the smooth release of on-chain services. You will assist in the process of gathering requirements from stakeholders, defining repeatable processes, and owning the execution of these processes. You will also be responsible for managing and participating in an on-call rotation supporting these functions. This is a newly created position for someone who is passionate about data on Blockchains, DeFi, financial products, and who can contribute quantitatively to new data products to drive adoption. In this role, you'll be the go-to person to evaluate price aggregation methodologies, analyze large sets of on-chain and off-chain data and backtest different valuation approaches. You will closely collaborate with leading DeFi projects and across Chainlink to improve quality of pricing data and deliver novel data products. We want you to take a leading role in choosing what data sources are implemented into our systems, effectively making the leading data products used across the DeFi/smart contract industry. As the first financial engineer in the team, your work will have a significant impact across the DeFi space, and you will play a critical role in how we scale the data product function.

Your Impact

• Evaluate and influence aggregation methodologies to produce reliable prices for digital assets
• Research, propose and test pricing methodologies for illiquid assets  
• Actively engage with data product users to collect detailed requirements for indices and indicators to turn into data products for the DeFi / CeFi communities

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of benchmark and indexing methodologies, and benchmark quality design within capital markets and/or crypto
• Strong quantitative (including statistical analysis) background
• Experience with pricing methodologies for liquid and illiquid assets 
• Passion for the blockchain space and its power to change the world for the better

Your Impact

• Support and collaborate on global compensation and benefits initiatives.
• Oversee data integrity and reporting for all compensation and benefits data.
• Help design and implement innovative compensation programs that bring outsized leverage for the team – including but not limited to compensation cycles, promotion cycles, LTI programs, et al.
• Help co-author company-wide compensation philosophy and socialize this with a wide range of stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years in compensation/HR role.
• Experience building compensation programs or processes.
• Excellent Excel/spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent analytical skills – it’s important you are highly data literate and can easily find trends in data sets.
• Excellent communication skills - you can write in a professional voice and communicate esoteric compensation info in a way that others can understand.
• Proactive about finding and presenting solutions, especially when they involve creative problem-solving.
