About the Role:

Blockswap is looking for an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer - Observability / Monitoring to join our Engineering team to build and maintain the monitoring infrastructure. This is an opportunity to monitor, observe, and operate various use cases of Ethereum-staking, including staked yield and MEV supply chain. You will have exposure to a wide range of DeFi primitives and to Rollups. This is a unique opportunity to lead the industry simultaneously observing consensus/execution layer data for Ethereum validators.

We are building a ground-up state aggregation and indexing platform that allows developers to build the next generation of DeFi multichain protocols with publicly verifiable onchain information at the core. The platform enables real-time integration of Registry contracts and Gateway contracts state extensions for cross-chain liquidity provisions and order flow management.

As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will join our Engineering team - Monitoring & Intelligence dept and bring your expertise to allow Blockswap to meet its ambitious goals. Responsibilities:

• Manage Observability challenge — monitoring the uptime of Ethereum Node and reliability of our protocols contract rules.
• Assist in the formal specification of contract state rules and aggregating event-driven architecture and alerting approach.
• Develop and build a highly scalable, secure, and reliable Data indexing that helps Registry smart contracts usage at a fundamental level.
• Develop and maintain pipelines & features: You will build or improve the current data engineering stack, be it pipelines or components.

Job role:

• Manage Blockswap observability infrastructure for Ethereum and Rollup nodes
• Proactively improve coverage and create automated alerts for protocol needs by maintaining and enhancing the Ethereum infrastructure’s observability.
• Define observability standards, create documentation, contribute to structured pipelines and Implement detailed triage/escalation/remediation procedures and tooling to automate it
• Translate onchain data for Defi capabilities by enriching smart contract events and on-chain data analysis.
• Develop internal data API and collaborate with the DevOps for deployment
• Implement observability data acquisition and observability/incident management User Interface and implement alerts rules

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an engineer in data engineering or platform infrastructure teams
• Experience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworks
• Desirably 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering handling Ethereum Node running, Indexers (GraphQL), or event-driven infrastructures like Forta, Tenderly, etc.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English is a must.

We are looking for an experienced, smart contract engineer (solidity) to help us build the MEV markets and bridgeless cross-chain. You will be part of our Engineering team and work with the best minds in the DeFi and cross-chain domain.

We also are actively developing fundamental infrastructure for Ethereum staking LSD, MEV - PBS, and Multichain ERC20 for cross-chain bridgeless liquidity for rollups and EVM blockchains.

Responsibilities

• You will be working primarily on MEV markets PBS and Multichain ERC20 for the cross-chain liquidity management contract stack we built internally.
• Write highly efficient smart contracts adhering to best security practices on byte-level executions efficiently process and store on-chain information.
• Work in line with the technical and formal specifications and implementation of contracts logic
• Create tests and specs to enable property tests, formal configuration presets, and production deployments.
• Implement periphery contracts and SDK for contracts
• Build smart contracts using Test Driven Development methodologies, including code reviews, acceptance testing, bug fixing, and general support

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working as a full-time developer and recent 1yr DeFi experience a must.
• Intellectual curiosity and the capability to learn complex topics and validate research assumptions
• Prior experience deploying complex smart contract systems to the Ethereum mainnet is essential.
• You write secure, efficient, high-quality code and understand CS fundamentals, common vulnerabilities, and the EVM well.
• Solid English communication skills (oral and written) are a must in documenting throughout the development phase.
• A deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, common vulnerabilities, and the EVM
• Strong knowledge of gas optimization and the tradeoff between efficient and readable code.
• Familiar with testing frameworks, such as Foundry, Hardhat, and Certora Prover.

We are looking to expand our commercial and product team with an Ecosystem Success Manager. Who is well-versed in the Ethereum ecosystem, has excellent knowledge, and is active in discussing MEV, ETH staking, Rollups, and Cross-chain Bridges in social and research circles.

Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Growth – Grow industry participation and execute strategies that grow the builders and node runners community. Publish thought leader content, enhance developer materials, conduct workshops, and research guides on democratized MEV redistribution.
• Developer Experience – Facilitate hands-on developer resource support while working with engineers to optimize the onboarding materials, walkthrough videos, documentation repackaging, etc., for the academy. Translate partner & developer feedback to engineering and take proactive steps to identify and minimize communication pain points.
• Integration Coordination – Keep track of the community-driven build programs, nurture partners, and work closely with marketing and engineering teams to continuously deliver the best ecosystem experience for stakehouse and MEV stack and ensure that we provide them with the necessary support. 
• You shall have subject matter expertise of both Blockswap protocols and the related domains, e.g., mempool, MEV, Staking, and DeFi. And conduct compelling research on Blockswap solutions’ impact on specific industry pain points.

Key Requirements:

• You have a solid background in Ethereum blockchain, DeFi, and the cross-chain world. 
• Has excellent quantitative and analytical skills and focused on product exploration and discovery.
• You will research cross-chain updates in the ETH Rollups and MEV space, identify potential use cases and partners, and lead the development and implementation of those opportunities in line with the product roadmap.
• Communicate the product features and their potential to users and at large for the ecosystem protocols and engage in discussions to be a most sought source of feedback from the community. 
• Write long and short articles such as blogs, research articles, or social posts articulating blockswap key offerings and expanding awareness.

Qualifications:

• This role is ideal for someone with a technical background looking to work with multiple sides of the business, with the main focus on delivering user results.
• Defi Industry Experience: doing advocacy, Evangelism, or technical walkthroughs for an established, developer-focused project (this is a must for the candidate)
• 3+ years of growth roles with a CS or business degree. 
• Native English speaker with good written communication skills, demonstrable by previous work. Ability to convey complex concepts more simplified manner to generalized and specialized audiences.

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Formal Methods / Verification to join our Engineering team. The candidate shall have previous verification experience, academic, industrial, or both—knowledge of formal semantics and formal verification.

You will be involved in Protocol design reviews by formalizing architecture and their reasoning; you are the interface between development engineers and the Formal Verification and Security team. You will produce formal specifications for Blockswap protocols, iteratively refining specifications, modeling, and proving them using formal frameworks and tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in formal methods or tools, e.g., proof assistants, interactive/automated theorem provers, model checking, deductive verification, etc.
• Experience with unit testing, documentation, design, and code reviews with strong mathematical and logical thinking skills.
• Good written communication skills and ability to write and understand the mathematical notation
• Knowledge of mathematical proof methods (induction, contradiction, exhaustion, probabilistic proofs)
• Basic secure software pattern and smart contract vulnerability knowledge (Reentries, invariants, etc.)
• Industrial experience in formally verifying real-world systems.
• Strong reasoning skills and Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You will design formal methods that define the correctness of smart contracts logic that helps to review and identify security issues and bugs in our protocols.
• Write (semi-)formal specifications and turn them into high-quality executable, verifiable, and verified code.
• Extend the scope and depth of our protocol specifications using formal proofs and verification tools such as Certora Prover.
• Identify security properties of smart protocol contracts and formalize properties and invariants for use in our automated verification tools.
• Closely collaborate with our software engineers to solve development/pre-deployment problems and address them.

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Front End Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a key role in designing modern interfaces focusing on UX to deliver the best experience for blockswap products.

You will work in close collaboration with the product, design UX/UI, and backend engineering teams to ship features and develop new solutions for Stakehouse protocol interfaces and analytics.

You must be a person with a sense of style and a passion for creating high-impact UX and setting new standards for DeFi, with good knowledge of best practices of web3 development, and Solidity web integration.

Responsibilities

• Build out blockswap Stakehouse dapp using React, NextJs, and web3 libraries to create responsive, performant user interfaces.
• Implement W3C-based front-end development experience with node.js, React, and typescript.
• Shepherd product scope from designs and specifications to live deployments and ensure they are tested thoroughly
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Translate  Wireframes, prototypes, designs, develop and maintain user Interfaces; like decentralized exchanges, protocol explorers, and analytics.
• You will be creating dapps interacting with Ethereum Smart Contracts written in Solidity. Additionally, you’ll be deploying websites using the traditional Server/DNS approach as well as IPFS/ENS.

Requirements

• You must be a team player and who essential a contributor
• JavaScript/Typescript and Defi/NFT experience with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience building responsive/adaptive web applications using W3C ARIA.
• Expert level React with a preference for working with hooks, designing and developing APIs with knowledge of GraphQL backends

• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the technical feasibility of your proposed prototypes and validate them with internal stakeholders before it goes into development. 
• Create and improve user journey flows by producing high-fidelity prototype wireframes. Provide support to marketing and brand design efforts.
• Implement accessibility best practices and pay attention to color, navigation, and contrast. Focus on the visual interface (UI) for web/apps and develop UI mockups that clearly articulate functionality and experience.
• Write design specifications documenting the design decisions and user flow in a written and visual format. 
• Work closely with the product team to discover user needs, conduct user testing, and prototypes, gather insights, troubleshoot UX problems, and conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. 
• Create and maintain website/app style guides (icons, illustrations, and graphics) and illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. 
• Understand Blockswap at a deep level and be able to generate user-ready content.

Requirements

• You are based in the USA.
• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX designer roles. 
• Have a strong understanding of common cryptocurrency design patterns. 
• Demonstrate strong UI/UX skills and knowledge, particularly for web3 design. Understand the iterative design process; Maintain a brand and create new assets for a brand.
• You’ll be able to develop new components, establish guidelines for their usage, and help with the maintenance of the overall system. 
• Experience with previous app/web launches as a UX/UI designer and an in-depth understanding of modern UX and UI patterns. 
• Ability to rapidly generate and iterate ideas and execute them with attention to detail. 
• Be a content creator (images, graphics, sketches, tables, motion graphics, and animations). 
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is a must. 
• Previous experience working with agile teams and collaborating closely with developers, copywriters, and UX designers.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.
• Personal interest in cryptocurrency, DeFi, or NFTs. English speaking (not necessarily native).

Nice to have’s

• Previous experience working with dApps. 
• Experience working as part of a marketing team. 
• Previous experience working remotely. Experience in the following code languages: HTML, CSS, XSL, React
