As a QA Engineer you'll join Product Engineering Team who are passionate about creating and optimizing the latest cryptocurrency trading platforms, helping to discover new practices in the financial world, designing and developing solutions for a global user base and developing tools for internal company processes.

What you'll do

• Review product & technical specifications/documents and provide timely feedback.
• Write, maintain & execute test scenarios through the product lifecycle.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Communicate effectively with all teams involved (e.g. project managers, product owners, engineering, etc.).
• Identify & track bugs, perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools & technologies.

• Analytical problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools is an added plus (Robot framework, Selenium, Appium Postman API).
• High proficiency in computer technology and basic knowledge of SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience in writing test scenarios based on product specifications.
• Experience with issue & project tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and source code management tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• At least 2-years of experience in quality engineering or software development.

As a Data Intelligence Associate, you will join the Data Intelligence Team, who are at the heart of the exchange across all key global initiatives and teams. Its role is to unlock and drive data driven decision making through actionable insights, driving revenue maximization and cost / process optimization projects using advanced statistical models, data science.

The Market Surveillance team, an integral part of the Data Intelligence department, works at the heart of the Exchange. Its role is to understand market behavior, keep clients safe from manipulation and ensure that Bitstamp’s Market Integrity is not compromised. With a keen eye on evolving regulation, we take a data driven approach to providing insights into changing patterns of trading activity through advanced statistical methods. We are looking for Junior and Senior Associates with a keen interest in trading, compliance, good communication skills and a structured approach to analysis. We expect solid knowledge of MySQL and experience from working with visualization tools. Some understanding of Institutional and Algorithmic trading practices would be a distinct advantage in the role. • Analysing markets, order book and trade activity, fund flows and behaviour.
• Working closely with a Market Order Book replay tool to either corroborate suspicious alert triggers or determine whether mitigating factors exist.
• Aiding social media and customer support representatives to improve fact-based responses to client queries .
• Providing expertise on rules of Order book interaction and market microstructure.
• Keeping up to date with global regulatory developments around market manipulation and insider trading.
• Providing data intelligence to support investigation of suspicious activities highlighted by manipulation detection alerts.

As an Architect, you'll join Platform Engineering Team, a team that is responsible on for building and maintaining Internal Development Platform.

As an Architect you will 1) work with Product teams on technically complex projects where you will prepare solution designs, guide technical solutions and mentor developers, 2) work with Platform teams on improving our Internal Development Platform.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, supply input and help us build and grow our application architecture.
• As a technical domain expert take part in the entire project lifecycle - from business discussions to product and technical designing solutions, realization and product rollouts.

• Ensuring developed products are reliable, performant, and scalable (based on product objectives/requirements).
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical and execution plans (technical design, resource planning and estimates, POCs, etc.).
• Effectively communicate solutions within engineering and incorporate technical stakeholder's requirements and guidelines into solution design.
• Work with Python, Golang, MySQL, Kafka and AWS services.

As a Head of Product Engineering, you'll join and help lead a dynamic Engineering Department that defines new standards in the industry, creating new and unique crypto services for customers globally.What you'll do• Manage and lead multiple cross-functional engineering divisions focused on product delivery• Ensuring the delivery of projects and products in accordance best-practice (agile) methodologies and ensuring rapid iterations are delivered to market.• Create world-class processes within engineering relating to product delivery and project lifecycle aligned with Engineering stakeholders (Infrastructure, Platform, Architecture)• Standardize the process where needed, allow local differences where advantages.• Work closely with engineering and product managers to provide consistent and efficient interface between Engineering and Product Management• Define and implement Key Engineering Metrics and report to engineering and organisational management, building automated solutions for this.• Support priorization activities between product features, security and system requirements (performance, availability, maintainability)• Hire and build distributed team with focus on remote culture and collaboration• Mentor engineering leads and help them build performant and efficient teams.
