What are we looking for?

We are looking for DevOps Engineers that uses knowledge of software and systems engineering to build, run, and scale services and platforms. You will be taking ownership of the setup and maintaining a large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant infrastructure for our blockchain applications.

What will you be doing?

• Plan, architect, configure and deploy large-scale cloud infrastructure in cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Digital Ocean
• Engineer architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployments.

• Ensure technical quality and assurance by participating in Architecture Governance and Technical Design peer review processes, working closely with the customer and internal stakeholders as appropriate

Your experience should include

• 4+ years of industrial experience in architecting, developing, and troubleshooting systems
• Setup and maintain multiple blockchain nodes, including Ethereum L1/L2
• Fluent with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Javascript, Golang, etc.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructures like GCP, and AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and other container management solutions
• Experiences with Infrastructure monitoring, such as collecting, processing, and analysis of metrics from tools such as Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Datadog
• Knowledge of standard methodologies related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
• Exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration, and automated deployment

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a protocol engineer to work within the Protocol Team in designing and implementing Biconomy’s Multichain Relayer Protocol. You will collaboratively take ownership of the protocol’s design, construction, and development.

We are looking for a highly experienced core developer with relevant experience in implementing solutions to core blockchain problems (such as consensus, account management, cryptography, storage, identity, and performance)As web3 networks mature, the demand for highly intuitive and nuanced user experiences has grown. At the same time, the demand for decentralization is at an all-time high.

To achieve these design goals, we need a core developer to collaboratively design, build and evolve the core decentralized infrastructure capable of censorship resistance and, simultaneously, deliver user experience exceeding those offered by legacy networks.

What will you be doing?

• Working within the Protocol Team in designing and implementing Biconomy’s Multichain Relayer protocol
• Researching external blockchain systems and understanding how they implement solutions to core blockchain problems, designing ways to integrate them with Biconomy’s relayer protocol
• Participating in technical specifications design, development, and implementations
• Upholding high-security standards and ensuring sound security practices when building out the protocol
• Collaborating with developers on all parts of the stack internally for auxiliary products such as wallets, block explorers, etc
• Performing and assisting engineers through code reviews, acceptance testing, bug fixing, and general support
• Staying up to date with emerging trends and applying them to Biconomy if applicable

Your experience should include:

• 4+ years of experience in software development and relevant experience in blockchain technologies.
• Practical experience with various consensus protocols/algorithms
• Practical experience with p2p communication in a decentralized network (concept of connecting to a peer node, handling connection drops, hands-on libp2p experience is a plus point!)
• Practical experience with designing and building high-performance and scalable network protocols
• Practical experience with mempool implementation (preferably EVM mempool) and ability to modify it as per network requirements. Non-EVM is a plus point!
• Hands-on experience with Go, Typescript, Nodejs, Javascript
• Hands-on experience with Oracles, Relayers, and setting up blockchain nodes
• Hands-on experience with Ethereum supplementary tools such as infura, ethers.js, hardhat, etc
• Demonstrated strong ability to take an implementation from POC to MVP to Production while ensuring quality

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Head of Infrastructure to lead the research and development of the core Biconomy tech stack. You will take ownership of the design, construction, and vision of the decentralized transaction execution infrastructure that makes up the Biconomy Relayer Network. We need a highly experienced senior technologist that can supercharge Biconomy’s mission of simplifying transactions across web3 by building an industry-leading infrastructure capable of handling blockchain transaction execution across EVM and non-EVM chains.

As web3 networks mature, the demand for highly intuitive and nuanced user experiences has grown. At the same time, the demand for decentralization is at an all-time high. To achieve these design goals, we need a leader to design, build and evolve the core decentralized infrastructure, which is capable of censorship resistance and, at the same time, deliver user experience exceeding those offered by legacy networks.

What will you be doing?

• Set the technical vision for the Biconomy Relayer Protocol and continuously set the technical product strategy direction (along with the CTO)
• Leading and building the team with the required skill set to deliver on that vision
• Leading from a technical standpoint, the planning, architecting, developing, testing, and shipping of new features and improvements to software components powering the Biconomy Relayer Protocol
• Assisting the team to help design key protocol architecture components, such as transaction discovery, transaction allocation, and network incentive alignment
• Interface with economics counterparts to ensure that economic incentives are aligned with technical implementation
• Research at the cutting edge of different transaction protocol designs, blockchain designs, blockspace and gas markets, and adjacent infrastructure
• Contribute to EVM/non-EVM research forums, protocol technical discussions, proactive representation and speaking at conferences, and connect with industry leaders to actively engage in related discussions

Ideal Experience

• Experience in creating and maintaining complex distributed, concurrent and low-level software systems
• Relevant experience in decentralized engineering research and thought leadership
• Experience in working with external contributors and community members
• Contributed to research publications and has given public talks at conferences
• Ability to design decentralized technology systems around stakeholder incentives, attack vectors, and network health
• Possesses a long-term perspective on the decentralized, autonomous technology system being implemented

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Go, Typescript, Nodejs, Javascript

About the role

We’re looking for a highly technical and strategic VP Engineering who will play a critical role in our technical product strategy at Biconomy. The individual will also have a strong passion for Web3 UX (both developer UX as well as end user UX) and will work directly with the Founders and CTO on technical strategy and engineering delivery.

What will you be doing?

• Take ownership/lead across the tech side of the project: architecture, dev ops, in-house developer resourcing, product etc.
• Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product Identify internal tech team needs and help craft our engineering/product team hiring roadmap
• Conduct screenings of engineering/product candidates as part of the hiring process
• Work with engineering team to increase their expertise and understanding of best development practices
• Lead our product and developer teams to ensure we maintain standards for documentation, code quality, and testing
• Working closely with the founding team in continuously setting the technological roadmap and vision

• A proven background of 8+ years in software engineering or computer science
• 4+ years experience leading engineering teams in blockchain, crypto, or Web3
• High level of experience with the JavaScript (ReactJS / NodeJS) programming language
• Demonstrated experience facilitating remote-first, distributed software engineering teams

About the role

This role gives you the platform to work with a dynamic and ever-growing team of passionate developers to build developer-focused infrastructure and tool kits for multi chain environment and many other exciting products that will act as a foundation for web 3.0

You will be part of the team who has pioneered the concept of gasless transactions and also built a cross-chain bridge infrastructure that provides the transfer of assets and cross-chain smart contract calls as a part of providing seamless UX and Developer Experience. We operate in a highly autonomous environment where all ideas are welcome, so we are looking for ambitious and creative builders who want to contribute to how we build the internet of the future!

What will you be doing?

• You’ll be building and contributing to backend systems that supports Biconomy products that communicates with different blockchain networks and other external systems
• Creating scalable and robust client facing backend APIs, internal micro services and scripts (Scheduled jobs) that communicates with external systems like blockchain networks, oracles and internal systems like mongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ to perform some business logic
• Writing performant and optimised code and algorithms in terms of memory and CPU utilisation and data storage
• You will be writing code in NodeJS, Typescript, Go using frameworks like NestJS, ExpressJS but you are not restricted to these stacks and based on project requirement new stack can be used
• Interacting with other engineers, QA team, DevOps team to get things done as per the project requirement and timelines and focus should be given to the quality of code
• Working with a team that has mindset of building framework and infrastructure for decentralised programs and applications that’ll help you think beyond traditional programming

Your experience should include:

• Should be familiar with the concept of OOPs (Object Oriented Programming), Inheritance, Interfaces]
• Must have worked on backend REST APIs that works at scale and can handle more than 1000 request per second without having impact on API latency and system performance
• Must have written micro services where multiple internal services communicates with each other efficiently that doesn’t break in case of spikes in requests
• Must have interacted with data storage layer like NoSQL database and cache layer like Redis and should be able to create storage optimised schema where data is easily fetched quickly in an optimised way irrespective of data size
• Should know the concept of locks, parallel processing and multi threading
• Should be familiar with logging frameworks and know how to do proper logging in the code that helps in debugging any flow in the code in case of errors
• Should know how decentralised networks works and how they store data in a distributed network

About the role

This role gives you the platform to work with a dynamic and ever-growing team of passionate developers to build developer-focused infrastructure and tool kits for multi chain environment and many other exciting products that will act as a foundation for web 3.0

You will be part of the team who has pioneered the concept of gasless transactions and also built a cross-chain bridge infrastructure that provides the transfer of assets and cross-chain smart contract calls as a part of providing seamless UX and Developer Experience. We operate in a highly autonomous environment where all ideas are welcome, so we are looking for ambitious and creative builders who want to contribute to how we build the internet of the future!

What will you be doing?

• Integrate with new blockchains and side-chains to increase our multichain infrastructure
• Optimize smart contracts for performance and gas usage
• Connect with the developer community and facilitate discussion with technical partners
• Stay up to date with new developments and news in the blockchain world
• Always being on the lookout to enhance Biconomy’s offering by finding and making new tools, utilities, and libraries
• Build backend web services that interact with blockchains
• Work on composability and integration with other blockchain protocols
• Development, Testing, and Deployment of smart contracts on multiple platforms
• Collaborate with a small team, owning and planning projects for long-term impact
• Work on our robust documentation and SDKs to help developers integrate Biconomy
• Managing and enhancing a cutting-edge tech stack comprising of Node.js, ES2016/17 (Javascript), Go, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Solidity, Hardhat, Truffle, AWS, GCP, Github, Gitbook

Your experience should include:

• Relevant development experience in building decentralized applications
• Overall 4+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of blockchain development experience
• Experience with developing REST APIs in Node.js
• 2+ years of experience working with a Nodejs/any JS framework
• Experience working with Solidity and smart contracts testing frameworks (Truffle, Ganache CLI, Geth, Hardhat, and Remix)
• Technical knowledge of the leading blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and the latest innovations in the space
• Clear basics of blockchain transactions and accounts (including EOA and Smart Contract Wallets)
• Deep understanding of a blockchain transaction and its lifecycle for major public blockchains
• Good understanding of Account Abstraction concept including EIP-4337
• Knowledgeable about smart contract security and best practices (design patterns)
• Familiarity with Git and Version Control
• Proficiency in writing modular, clean, and well-tested code along with unit test cases
