Where do you fit in?

We’re looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our team. You’ll have an opportunity to work across our entire Ethereum-based web3 stack on cutting-edge technology that reshapes the global financial system.

Our tech stack: Solidity, ethers, hardhat, Typescript, Javascript, Node.js, web3, React

Responsibilities

• Protocol Architecture: Research and develop protocol upgrades and new financial concepts.
• Smart Contracts: Implement designs with a focus on security, simplicity, ease of use, and gas-efficiency.
• Code Review and Mentorship: Write code in a highly collaborative open source ecosystem. In depth reviews of others’ contributions is expected with a focus on helping others grow their technical expertise.
• Bots: write off-chain code to interact with and manage smart contracts. Bot systems should have a high degree of correctness, efficiency, and antifragility.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years full-time experience in Engineering at a software or financial services technology organization
• 1+ years full-time experience working in solidity or other compiled language
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tech and write secure and high quality code
• Passion for blockchain technology, cryptoeconomic protocol design, game theory, or decentralized finance

Compensation:

• UMA’s pay packages include competitive salaries & substantial token options. Salaries are typically between $100-200k (USD), and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem.

We are looking for a blockchain data analyst to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with senior domain experts to gain insight and knowledge and inform key business decisions. The successful candidate will turn their curiosity and knowledge of tools into living and breathing data sets to quickly translate them into meaningful analysis.

Responsibilities

• Utilise industry standard tools and enjoy sleuthing within on-chain data to deliver hypothesis, answer product questions, and conduct competitive analysis all of which will inform business strategy
• Serve as the data and blockchain analytics go to person who enables the team to make data-informed decisions, dashboards, reports, ad-hoc queries, insightful observations
• Run on-chain data analysis to provide unique insights and identify inefficiencies and opportunities to increase community engagement and innovation

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to take a question and quickly deliver data driven output- speed, comfort in imperfection, and pride in your work is important
• Strong oral and written communication skills- take your data driven work and distill that into concise insights 
• Knowledge of blockchain, crypto, and DeFi, and experience doing data analysis on Ethereum
• Programming skills and experience with open-source data science tools are an asset
• Strong fundamentals in probability and statistics
• Some experience with cloud infrastructure, especially GCP, is preferred.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for solving problems- you want to learn from and with the very smart people around you

Compensation

We’re looking for a Community Manager who is seeking an opportunity to strengthen, grow, and shape the Across community. This person is passionate about DeFi and the ethos of web3, and uses that passionate to motivate and inspire others to be an active part of the ecosystem. Immersing yourself in the community, creating opportunities for delightful experiences, and incentivizing action are things that you find joy in!

Responsibilities

• Build community: Shape and grow a passionate community of evangelists that benefit from using our technology, and want to grow the ecosystem
• Support token holders: Support, nurture, and expand the $ACX token holder ecosystem and governance participation
• Collaborate: Work closely with communications, community, and product teammates to align on and implement growth strategies
• Actively Engage: pride yourself on timely responses and enthusiastically organize, managing and facilitate events and audio calls (ie., twitter spaces, etc.)

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience in DAO governance or DAO project management in any capacity
• High EQ: promote a community culture of kindness, positivity, and inclusivity
• Ability to use your depth of knowledge around DeFi, blockchain, and oracles and translate complex concepts to various audiences
• Expert in navigating Discord, Discourse and other forums, and Twitter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multiple languages is of course an asset
